Kurpis Center
For Advanced Dentistry

We hope you and your family are doing well and staying safe during this
unprecedented crisis.

We are pleased to announce that our office has reopened to take care of your dental
needs. It is our goal to ensure the safety of our patients and provide you with the
best possible care as we all navigate our way through this global pandemic.

The Covid-19 restrictions that were placed on dental offices were originally
established to curb exposure to doctors, patients and staff, as well as to preserve
the initial limited supply of PPE (personal protective equipment) such as N95
masks and sterile gowns. Now that there is a sufficient supply of PPE available,
and we have implemented the newly recommended infection control protocols in
our office, we are able to safely see patients on our previous schedule.

We have implemented infection control measures in our office that are above and
beyond the recommendations provided by the ADA (American Dental
Association), CDC (Centers for Disease Control), and OSHA (Occupational Safety
and Health Administration). We will be constantly updating you on what to expect
including the following measures:

• Prior to your arrival, we will provide an online registration and questionnaire
to help minimize unnecessary contact. We will reach out via phone to help
guide you through this new process, if necessary.

• Our waiting room is currently closed to avoid contact with other patients.
When arriving at our office, call us from your car and we will inform you
when you can proceed into the office. Upon entering, your temperature will
be taken with a noncontact temporal thermometer and your questionnaire
will be reviewed.

• All staff will be wearing masks. Our front desks are lined with partitions to
create a zone of comfort for patients. HEPA and UV air purifiers are being
used in each of the operatories and all public areas are frequently
disinfected. Our suction system has been upgraded for maximum efficiency.

• Our staff and personnel wear upgraded PPE. In the operatory our staff
wears an N95 mask, surgical mask, eye protection, hair cover, full face
shield, disposable gowns, and shoe covers.

• You will be offered an antiviral oral rinse prior to your procedure. The
water supply for our equipment will also be treated with an antiviral

• As disinfection of our operatories is of the highest importance, we have
implemented a safe and effective system which encompasses the judicious
use of disinfectants according to the guidelines of the CDC and ADA.
We look forward to welcoming back all our patients, neighbors and friends. Please
reach out to us if you have any questions at all.
